NYC Concealed carry course

North Jersey Firearms Training offers the New York Resident & Non-Resident Concealed Carry Course starts on Saturday morning and ends on Sunday. This comprehensive course spans two days, with 8 hours of instruction each day and an additional 2 hours dedicated to shooting practice. Classes begin promptly at 8:30 AM on Saturdays, providing participants with the knowledge and skills required for concealed carry in New York.

There will be a selection of handguns available for use during the training sessions.
You will be required to take a written test, and pass with a score over 80%
You must demonstrate proficiency with a firearm by shooting at least the minimum score required to qualify for a concealed carry permit.
Ammunition and range fee are included in the price.
Please bring photo ID and an open mind.
Hearing protection and Safety glasses will be provided.

Honestly was a great class. Coming from a state where there is open carry to NJ where the laws are ridiculous- this class was amazing to teach you. Learned a lot with all different type of scenarios, how to carry gun and hollister it. Laws and regulations. Highly recommend Marcus.

I attended my first class today. The class itself was very informative and the instructor Marcus was very knowledgeable of the laws and the weapons. We attended the gun range where he stood by your side and gave you step by step instructions on shooting the weapon. He gives you options as to which gun your comfortable with. I would recommend using him.

Marcus is incredibly knowledgeable, down to earth, and experienced. As a beginner, I came in a bit nervous and not knowing what to expect. Because of the small class sizes (which is ideal) Marcus was able to teach me the important information in an easy-to-understand way and personally guided me to help me feel more comfortable. Marcus is really great. He knows what he is doing and makes you feel comfortable while going through his course. Answered all my questions and went above and beyond in his training. It’s very laid back. The whole process was intimidating when I first looked up the requirements but he gets you comfortable with what you will be doing to get through the course. Marcus Marquez @ Northjerseyfirearmstraining is a master instructor. I’m an educator, older adult and a firearms Novice. After the Introductory course, I’ve learned the essentials of Firearms Safety for NJ, such as - the best practices to ensure respect and responsibility of firearm ownership and use. Most of all he was responsive to my questions, and showed empathy for my anxiety as a mature female. After my first gun shooting at the indoor range, I remember shaking and being shocked by the power of pulling the trigger and loud bangs. Marcus showed compassion for my panic attack and with patience , he checked in with me to describe how I felt and to tell him when I was ready to proceed with the training at the range. Most of all I appreciated that he never discouraged me or made me feel badly about my initial reaction to all of the new stimulus around me. I look forward to continue my training, increased target focus and desensitization to the loud sound of shooting. I hope to gain confidence, and competency in my being comfortable at the range and progression in my firearm skills with Marcus and continued training at a local range. Thank you D
