Honestly was a great class. Coming from a state where there is open carry to NJ where the laws are ridiculous- this class was amazing to teach you. Learned a lot with all different type of scenarios, how to carry gun and hollister it. Laws and regulations. Highly recommend Marcus.

Marcus Marquez @ Northjerseyfirearmstraining is a master instructor. I’m an educator, older adult and a firearms Novice. After the Introductory course, I’ve learned the essentials of Firearms Safety for NJ, such as - the best practices to ensure respect and responsibility of firearm ownership and use. Most of all he was responsive to my questions, and showed empathy for my anxiety as a mature female. After my first gun shooting at the indoor range, I remember shaking and being shocked by the power of pulling the trigger and loud bangs. Marcus showed compassion for my panic attack and with patience , he checked in with me to describe how I felt and to tell him when I was ready to proceed with the training at the range. Most of all I appreciated that he never discouraged me or made me feel badly about my initial reaction to all of the new stimulus around me. I look forward to continue my training, increased target focus and desensitization to the loud sound of shooting.
